Ludovic Chanson - Bel Ami - 2022

The Bel Ami cuvée from the Ludovic Chanson estate comes from Chardonnay vines planted on flint-clay soils. The grapes are harvested during the first passage through the vineyard, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 12 months in old oak barrels. The nose of this wine reveals delicious notes of white fruits, white flowers, vine peaches, sweet almonds, wet stone with a hint of brioche. The palate is full-bodied and taut thanks to a perfect balance between fat, a fine tangy texture, and mineral freshness. Only 900 bottles produced.
